The cantata Carmina burana and the pedagogical approach of Orff-Schulwerk are the two most famous works left by Carl Orff. The publication connects these two different worlds. The first part presents Carl Orff's pedagogical system and summarizes the principles and principles on which Orff-Schulwerk was built. The second part then demonstrates how this pedagogical approach can bring the cantata Carmina burana closer to students of different ages. The practical part contains a lot of specific didactic material - videos, recordings, sheet music. Thanks to the interactive nature of the text, it is easier to describe creative work with musical material. The presented text can serve as a study text dealing with the pedagogical contribution of Carl Orff as well as a methodological guide describing how to work in music lessons with selected parts of the cantata Carmina burana.
